    Author and former eLearning specialist Jane Bozarth now serves as the eLearning Guild's Director of Research. Join her for a review of the Guild's 2018 research initiatives, focused on both current realities and future probabilities. Special emphasis will be placed on emerging technologies like augmented and virtual realities and artificial intelligence. What are the opportunities and challenges for L&D as industries move into these new frontiers?

    Jane Bozarth, - Director of Research, eLearning Guild

    Jane Bozarth spent the bulk of her L&D career in North Carolina state government as a classroom facilitator, training manager, and eLearning designer. Along the way she completed a Master's degree in technology in training and a doctorate in Training and Development; her dissertation focused on social learning in communities of practice. She is the author of a number of books including, most recently, Social Media for Trainers and Show Your Work: The Payoffs and How-To's of Working Out Loud. In January 2018 Dr. Bozarth moved into the role of Director of Research for the eLearning Guild, she specializes in crafting reports meant to enhance understanding and help L&D practitioners better understand and utilize research, expand their roles, and enact more skillful work. Jane lives in Durham, NC with her husband and Thomas the corgi.
