Dr. Frank Nguyen will speaking on an emerging class of systems that enable organizations to shift from traditional learning management towards expertise management. Instead of measuring just training interventions, new systems allow organizations to capture a broader spectrum of learning interventions. Through structural gamification, organizations can quantify how much expertise an employee gains (or loses) through consuming learning, feedback from peers and customers, and through contributing their knowledge. By managing the output of expertise rather than the input of training and learning, organizations can align their learning functions more closely to business strategies and operations.
