Holly Burkett, PhD, CPT, SPHR
Increased demands for evidence-based processes and practices have heightened the use of performance improvement in both the private and public sector. Yet gaining traction and sustaining momentum for performance improvement in the face of accelerated change, moving targets, and competing resource demands is much like changing wheels in a moving car and is an aspect of practice that is often overlooked and underestimated. This interactive program will highlight threats and opportunities brought about by a new “normal” of frequent business disruptions and constant churn. Select case examples will describe how innovative performance improvement functions are addressing common change challenges to build sustainable value and increased resiliency. Examples will be drawn from research-based practices in Holly’s book, “Learning for the Long Run”, a 2017 Award Winner for Outstanding Human Performance Communication from ISPI.
Don’t get left behind the performance curve as the speed of change intensifies! Join this program to explore:
1. Proven practices for building resilience across multiple levels
2. How your function’s resiliency compares to best practice examples
3. How to apply best practices to your own change challenges
