Board Positions

Marketing

The two Vice Presidents of Marketing/Communications will each be an annually appointed officer of the chapter, and will be responsible for timely dissemination of the chapter’s marketing/communications for all Meetings and Workshops via the Chapter’s online web site, newsletter, and via local media with Press Releases. The Vice Presidents of Marketing/Communications are members of the Executive Committee.

Membership

The two Vice Presidents of Membership will each be an annually appointed officer of the chapter, and will be responsible for responding to inquiries from prospective members, process membership registrations and renewals, update membership address information, provide greeters for general meetings, provide mailing labels, keep up-to-date electronic records in the chapter’s membership database, provide meeting reception, and conduct an annual membership survey to determine the professional needs of the membership. The Vice Presidents of Membership are members of the Executive Committee.

Online Services

The two Vice Presidents of On-Line Services shall each have the responsibility and authority to create, modify and update information and resources displayed on or linked to the chapter’s World Wide Web site. The Vice Presidents of On-Line Services shall oversee all aspects of maintaining this site including selecting content, services, on-line transactions, and scheduling the times at which the site is updated. The Vice Presidents of On-Line Services are members of the Executive Committee.

Programs

The two Vice Presidents of Programs will each be an annually appointed officer of the chapter, and will be responsible for monthly chapter meeting coordination including identifying and confirming speakers and surveying members for topics of interest to present to the membership, maintaining communication with speakers prior to each meeting, providing speakers with all necessary chapter and /or meeting information, providing and disseminating meeting notices information, providing food and refreshments, ensuring meeting clean up, and sending appreciation letters to each presenter. The Vice Presidents of Programs are members of the Executive Committee.

Publications

The two Vice Presidents of Publications will each be an annually appointed officer of the chapter, and will be responsible for timely publication of the chapter’s online newsletter, advertisements, Job Bank postings, and membership directory. The Vice Presidents of Publications will also provide guidance and assistance in developing all chapter publications (i.e. flyers and announcements). The Vice Presidents of Publications are members of the Executive Committee.
