June Evening Program – Presented by Darryl Sink

Session Title: ISD:  Faster/Better/Easier

Session Description:

This presentation is about the practice of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) as it exists in the real world today and how it is being modified and used to produce training solutions that are faster, better and easier.  Several areas of ISD are presented to illustrate how ISD has been adapted to meet real world constraints and how it is best used with current delivery technologies, specifically e-Learning.  The presentation provides suggestions relating to some of the more important parts of the ISD process.  Learn useful techniques and practices that have emerged over time from the combination of research and the continuous striving by practitioners to find Faster/Better/Easier ways to develop effective training interventions.

Session Objectives:

In this session, participants will learn how to:

    1. Cite several examples of the ISD process being made faster, better, and easier all at the same time.
    2. Generate ideas for better managing ISD Projects to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
    3. Select, from a list of tips and best practices in ISD, those worth pursuing in your own organization and work environment.
